Indonesia - Thailand Business Forum: Advancing the Indonesia-Thailand Strategic Partnership Building Integrated Value Chains in Industry, Services, and the Halal Economy

The Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin Indonesia), in collaboration with the Thai Chamber of Commerce Indonesia (TCCI), hosted the Indonesia–Thailand Business Forum on 4 August 2026 at the Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta, coinciding with the official visit of H.E. Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, to Indonesia.

The forum brought together government representatives, business leaders, industry associations, and companies from both countries to explore concrete opportunities for bilateral trade, investment, and industrial cooperation.

The forum also featured the exchange of two Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), strengthening cooperation in carbon market development and the establishment of the Thailand Business Ecosystem–Indonesia (TBES-Indonesia).

The discussions continued through three panel sessions covering key areas of Indonesia–Thailand economic cooperation, with a focus on strengthening private sector engagement and building more integrated and resilient regional supply chains.

Through this forum, Kadin Indonesia and the Thai Chamber of Commerce Indonesia aim to strengthen private sector engagement between the two countries while supporting the development of a more integrated and resilient ASEAN regional value chain.
