On 27–29 August 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta, together with the Association of Thai Students in Indonesia (ATSI), organized the Thai Student Gathering 2025 under the theme “fitting in, standing out, together” in Jakarta. The event brought together more than 150 Thai students from 31 cities across Indonesia.

On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Indonesia, presided over the opening ceremony, emphasizing the objectives of supporting Thai students’ well-being in Indonesia, strengthening ties among them, and enhancing knowledge and skills essential for their studies and future careers.

The program featured lectures by experts from various fields, including discovering one’s potential and personality by Mrs. Pattama Sirikul, President of the Thai Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia; inspiring community development by Group Captain Sarintorn Suwanpong, community development specialist; the role of Thai students in ASEAN and global arenas by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Romyen Kosaikanont, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University; and strengthening mental health by Dr. Nat Kraiphassarpong, specialist at the Galya Rajanagarindra Institute.

The Embassy also provided consular consultation services. In addition, students participated in a Talent Show to showcase their abilities and joined a study visit to the National Museum of Indonesia, all in an atmosphere that was lively, warm, and intellectually enriching.
